LP Fault Trends onto Whirlwind Jack

I know we haven't started a field program yet, but there's lots to be optimistic about.

As a couple of us have stated before, the rock lithologies clearly trend from GBR's Dixie project onto RGLD's Whirlwind Jack property.  Geophysical maps clearly show the rocks folding in the northwest onto our property.

Also of significance, the Bear Rimini zone, Dixie zones align in a northwesterly trend...yep right through our property...and interestingly on strike with the Madsen mine to the northwest.

Probably most significant is the LP Fault that GBR's own maps show trending from their property to our property.  The significance?  According to GBR's website,

"
  • The LP Fault is interpreted as a major gold mineralization control and hydrothermal fluid conduit during Archean age gold mineralization. The generally 1 kilometre wide area between the LP and North Faults may represent a significant structural dilation zone where gold rich hydrothermal fluids accumulated."
  • The new discovery is hosted by a new exploration target, the “LP Fault”, and adjacent lithologies.

That's what I was getting at yesterday.  We had the biggest volume since last August close to 900k traded.  Ryan traded under 90k.  Others are taking notice of RGLD and are seeing the exact same thing.  The rocks and main Fault run right from Dixie onto our property.  Our market cap is under $5 mil.  It'd be nothing for anyone to take us over not that that' ...more

That's it.  Decided to sell off some of my pot stocks and buy more RGLD.

dacre, you need to buy more to stop this little pullback. :)

Uh huh...I know the focus is clearly on Red Lake but it's worth noting that SIC is presently in the middle of their 4000m phase 4 drill program on Moosehead claims.  Any excitement they can generate will bode well for us as we have 3 claim blocks there, 2 of them contiguous to SIC and one on strike to the east.

Had a look at GBR's maps on their website.  You're right.  Sure looks like they interpret the LP fault to run right onto our property.  And with the folding of the rocks onto the property at the same place she looks good.  Add to it the fact that there are historic gold showings on our property and it's looking like a perfect storm.  Now let's get some ...more

Okay, I've spent a fair bit of time perusing the GBR technical presentation.  Without boring you too much.  Page 6 shows a telling map, see link below. https://www.greatbearresources.ca/site/assets/files/3773/geology_presentation_may-23_2019.pdf The map and accompanying text/description of the DNW and Bear Rimini Zones state that the gold mineralization occurs in Felsic Volcanics ...more

Looks like the only two properties that have  the LP fault and felsic rocks (whatever they are) are Dixie and Red Lake Golds WJ property.  What's great is GBR seems to keep following the Fault towards our property.

Hey guys.  Here from the BTU board.  I bought into BTU a couple of days ago and its been mentioned on that board that it kakes sense to also take a stake in RGLD whichh I haven't done ... yet.  Just reading over the board and this post struck me.   So...you think RGLDs property is actually more promising than BTUs?   Guess Im trying to gind a reason to put $ here ...more

Welcome hillcrester, If you read over our past posts I think you'll gather a lot of info.  I'll let Sunnee speak to the geology as that's her field.  For me...I bought in because of the Moosehead plays last year and have owned ever since.  I like the turn of the company since Ryan Kalt took over.  He's not only CEO but largest shareholder at what must be 27 ...more

Well, it's a rainy day here on Georgian Bay... Who knows?  Really.  They're all exploration plays in which any, all or none may hit.  But you want to make money regardless of that.  Do in depth dd into management, management, management, share structure and property geology (which you may not ubderstand). To me, RGLD is superior in each of these facets.  I'll ...more
