GBR NR Figure 8

Unfortunately, I think GBR's Figure 8 has dampened the speculation that the high grade Yuma zone runs all the way to RGLD property boundary.  It still may, but now it will take further drilling by GBR showing that high grades continue to the northwest past the 22950 section.  The required sediment marker/(conduit?) bed is missing.  With only three drills currently, (more to be added), they will likely concentrate on drilling to the south where the zone is wider and still apparently open.

You could be right Goindeeper. However, that 7 g/t grab sample is still there on RGLD ground on  what I see is a fault. Time will tell!! A prospecting crew should be sent out there ASAP.

Also Goindeeper, the gold is within the felsic tuffs, not the sediments. The sediments are just a 'marker' horizon for the geologists and drillers. The gold is not even in the LP Fault. Check the sections!! Also, maybe the rocktypes on that westerly section was misinterpreted. Maybe there is sediments???

I thought I heard Chris say that the high grade gold was associated with the sediments.  When I get a chance I will listen to the webinar again and recheck my assertion. The units are distinct enough that they do not need to use the sediments for a marker.  Pretty sure Chris also said the marker for gold is the fact that you can see it in the drill core. I am sure they will eventually ...more

Looks like I read it rather than heard it.  Apologies.  You were also correct about it being a marker unit.  I missed that as I was more concerned with it being the control unit i.e. no control unit, no high grade hits. "Petrographic analysis also confirmed the presence of highly altered, albitized sediments proximal to the LP Fault.  These sediments provide a marker unit ...more
