Black powder

Is the black powder the metals or the by product ( I think being sold for concrete mixture)?
Comment by on-target on Aug 21, 2023 8:31pm
Lava1517 & Iscfa, the concentrate (black powder) that Module 1 produces that Greg says will be going to a refiner is in fact the extracted Platinum (95.4%) & Palladium (96.3%) that was processed from the facility.      A refiner takes the unrefined concentrate (black powder) that RGX sells to the refiner at (95.4%) & (96.3%),respectively, and the ...more

Thank you for the clarification!

So Davis trucks a raw powder to Regenx who processes it and trucks it to the refiner who trucks the byproduct back to Regenx. That's more transportation costs than most investors assumed.

Iscfa, only the concentrate (Black Powder) goes to the refiner. The byproduct comes out at Regenx's plant. Regenx takes care of the byproduct.     The Operation starts with the honeycomb (that's ground) from the inside of the catalytic converter. The plant's job is to extract the small amount of platinum and palladium from the ground honeycomb ...more

Regenx built close to Davis to keep costs down for transferring the concentrate. I believe when the powder is shipped to the refiner that's their ownership to refine and sell later. Maybe we will tefine when the millions start rollong in, this is a cash cow for sure!

Refineries already exist so I doubt RGX will spend massive money and engineering to compete with them. Mines don't build refineries.
Comment by Ballsofire on Aug 22, 2023 6:10pm
You're probably correct, we have plenty to do just building the 3 remaining commercial units!
Comment by bailey2 on Aug 22, 2023 7:01pm
RGX will not have to build out the 3 remaining modules alone. In all likelihood, perhaps in say 6 weeks there will be a few news releases to rock the world of this company..... Too bad the update yesterday wasn't to the whole market, just a shareholder email, as reading it a few times...... refining company signed to take the PGM's ( but can't be named because of the NDA)  they ...more

Yes when we see the BIG option gift to management  in the coming days all will know "we have arrived"!!
Comment by KevinOleary on Aug 23, 2023 2:18pm
Any refiner with spare capacity would like to take the products from this plant or for that matter they would take  whatever amount any mine produces. That is not a crucial piece to VERIFY the plant will work economically. It's just removing one of many potential roadblocks that can crush this project. I don't think there was anyone who thought the company would forget to sell their ...more
