Can they get rid of the mechanical agitators?

Can't they use recirculating pressurised air through some well placed nozzles to agitate the mixture?

there are different ways to agitate for sure.  The abrasive nature of the feedstock is an issue but this has been over come in other industries so this shouldn't be a deal breaker.  Its a matter of do they have the right engineers/consultants at their disposal that can come up with the right solution.  They likely need to separate the process as they are trying to do heating and ...more

In my opinion as an engineer with experience in design and commissioning custom machines, assembly lines, robot cells etc.  Experience with process systems, pumping , process heating in cooling.  I don't see how problem like this was not identified in a FMEA document.  This should and could have been anticipated

What is "agitating" is: the fact that Davis is really only a feedstock partner and although a 45 per cent "partner" in Greeneville brings nothing to the table for the engineering of module one. Davis has a wildly profitable metal recycling business presently and will probably let RGX limp along as long as it takes. He doesn't even start to get profits until the SECOND ...more

Please tell Greg, Don, and Rick this!!!!! I had a fellow 2 years ( have said before) that would have "nailed" this.  Nope now he's extracting graphite and graphene from end of life tires off "rock trucks " from Fort Mac !!!  FMe!!!!!! RR
