NO ONE PANIC IT'S STILL ON...ROBIN'S JUST A LITTLE EDGY!
Remember the following folks (SEE BELOW). This project is alive and well. Don't worry about Robin. He's a little edgy these days. I WILL START WORRYING WHEN VERN DECIDES TO PULL OUT! In the meatime, loosen up your collars, get comfy and have a drink

James,
Thank you for passing this along. Here’s a quick update from our end.
Installers are working on tying together all the elements of our network this week. We should be operational next week and will begin our internal testing before rolling out our trial service. We have two trial locations ready to go and could use a couple more over the next few weeks. Right now we’re anticipating being ready to offer service around Feb.1st. We will be starting our marketing push soon. Does the EIDC have regular monthly meetings? I would be interested in speaking at one of the meetings if you allow guests – virtually of course.
Hope you are well.
Dan

James,
As I mentioned on the phone, we are changing our approach to identifying potential trial customers that are within a mile or less of our initial facility near the high school. I plan to contact the businesses in that area to offer the 30-day trial free of charges unless they decide to keep the service. All it takes is to mount a 12’ x 12” antenna outside and run a cable into the building. There is a small power supply and a router to connect to the internet – that’s it! We will offer the trial to no more than about 10 businesses and or residents. I already have one residence that has agreed to the trial.
Below is a list of the businesses that I believe we can easily service. If you have any contacts at these businesses that you can refer me to please let me know. I went over your email distribution list and it looks like David Minchew at Elastotech is the only applicable contact out of the names of businesses listed below. I will use his unless you tell me otherwise.
We want these trial customers to have outstanding high speed internet so we will select them carefully. Some of them are close to the Loop so they may have better service via fiber optic cable but I’m betting most of them have less than desirable service and would be happy to try our internet access.
