Dont ya think big pharma companies would have looked into this a long time ago? And if it did work, change the structure a tiny bit and avoid patent infringement?

why spend the millions and millions and billions to reformulate and go through preclinical, phase 1, 2, 3? Why not just buy the drug/intellectual property after someone else proves it works?
