I think they would be required to announce if they have already spudded the new well.

Now that this is no longer my first rodeo, I need a reference point to start counting down from. I have high hopes for this spring but I am not high. 3 months to complete the well including announcing flow rates or I am out. I'm not letting my money sit idle for another year, it's been too many. Things, can happen and go wrong and be corrected in 3 months. Testing is generally a 24hr ...more

I think it is more of a 6-week stretch approx until they begin testing. If we reach may and still have no significant answers, and the share price is stagnant, I think I will have to call time of death finally.

I'm not calling a time of death on this one.   I compeared the 2013 private placement with Shp when mark jarvis was first involved and the last pp.  the guy from Switzerland that was one of the main shareholders back then is now involved again.  Two nights ago I researched Eric Schneider,  you know the Schneider meat company, well it's the same family, will Mathews is ...more

If they are drilling, these type of wells it will take 2 days to hit TD.   They will know if they have any good pay zone's , it's not a complicated process.  No news will be bad news ..

Yes we are not testing 6 different zones this time and I don't think we are going to the same depth.  At least I don't think.  I'm sure they will change the process. I guess we wait and see

Do you think an announcement regarding developing Newfoundland will be dropped before the current well fails or succeeds? If our well fails, I would consider buying back a wallop of shares in the half a cent to 3 cent range and wait for the fracking ban to be lifted. If we can't develop a conventional well partnered with a pro in the area, what makes you think we could succeed in ...more

I think they are pretty confident about Kansas. And I don't think Newfoundland has a chance to get developed with a liberal government.  We need the pc party to win the election. The election has been delayed because of covid and mail in ballots
