Drilling time line

I think from experience with SHP that this could mean a couple of weeks to a month..........who knows but Mark Jarvis will put out a NR when it's warranted.

Have a good weekend all - finally we may get some encouragement in this company!!

You know with all this time figuring out the water and  mud issues they had with Wells #1 and 2 I think? they just may have clinched this!!! The NEW Well #1 will come through........... Shoal Point to Spud First Pratt County Well

The first well had oil. The second nothing, and the third nothing. I think the second and third wells were to test the quality of the feild for carbon capture or maybe the brine. I could be totally wrong.   Pratt is in a total different location and I'm guessing it will be a simple process without testing the flows.   I think this is only a simple deal to get cash flow, but saying ...more

Fingers crossed for this keep the lights on operation. Let's not lose sight of the fact that if they hit a gusher, they will be making around 6 and a half dollars a barrel...  for now.

Hi Barry, Interesting comment about the rare earths in brines. Any idea if the technology used in the first well showed any signs of that?

I'm guessing.  It's a long shot.  Mt evens and Pratt are both under huge salt deposit, also red moon in Newfoundland has a huge salt deposit very close to the green point shale.  If you look at a guy on Gigas board.  DR. DAVID DREISINGER   Dr. Dreisinger completed his  B.A.Sc. and Ph.D. in Metallurgical Engineering at Queen's University in ...more

Also how they drilled  on 3 corners of the seismic shoot on the mt evens play made me think.  I found it odd to say the least

I haven't asked about the Green Point Shale but you know............NOW might be the time that NL could give Shoal Point the green light........ Anyone call in to ask Mark about this?     Thanks for posting links barry. Cheers!

When I talked to Mark about Newfoundland.  It always sounds like a long shot.  That being said I could see Shp getting other leases in Newfoundland.  Newfoundland needs to come out with rules and regulations around fracking.

If I remember correctly Shp tried to do work on a well and got declined.  I think Newfoundland is yesrs away but I have a guess Mark has things in the works until Newfoundland has its day to shine.  Pvf might do something with garden hill?   That's a possibility
