E3 Lithium gets $27M from feds to support oilfield lithium extraction

An Alberta-based company aiming to extract lithium from the province's old oilfields has received $27 million from the federal government.

E3 Lithium has developed a technology to extract lithium, a light metal used to make EV batteries, from oilfield brines.

I follow E3 lithium, it's a very exciting sector, yes I brought it up, lithium in brine.  But I have no clue what direction mark is taking. Back in the mt evens play I truly thought they were testing the brine in the last two wells. I could be totally wrong of course. Only my mind trying to figure out what's going on. Also Pratt country has very think salt layers, and Newfoundland has ...more
