NL did not ban fracking. The Government of the day  'paused'  it. It may be semantical but there is a big difference between a ban and a pause. This was a clever move by the Government.

You're correct that the Newfoundland and Labrador government initially implemented a "pause" on hydraulic fracturing (fracking) to conduct further research and public consultations. They paused fracking so how can they say time is up. The government is still in review. They owe Shp and the public a decision on the pause. What information have they researched to show  a final decision on fracking
