Something doesn't add up

The Liberal government gave a grant to Sona Nanotech to develop the Antigen test but Health Canada still has not approved it. Maybe it's time to wonder if Health Canada is pro conservative and is doing everything in their power to delay the approval of Sona's antigen test while at the same time consrvative MPs are pressuring the government to score political points against the Liberals. Could that be the reason why nothing is happening? Are they using Sona Nanotech as a pawn in their political game? Because it doesn't make sense that the Liberals who granted $4,5 million would not want Sona's antigen test to be approved.  Any thoughts on this conspiracy theory?

Well, one has to remember that the liberals basically swept Atlantic Canada and took all of the Halifax seats in the last election.  It would make common sense for them to want a small Canadian Biomedical firm with a great product in their liberal constituancy to be rapidly approved to provide economic growth for the area. If you want conspiracy theories, i'd be far more concerned with ...more

My thoughts exactly! I would think that the Liberals would want to have Sona's test approved and gloat that they were the ones who helped Sona Nanotech to bring this product to market. By the way I'm  not affiliated with any political parties. So as I wrote it was just a theory.

I believe many of us are thinking way too much on what is not happening on what all of us believe is not a timely fashion. Some of should step away from our computers and let things unfold as I am sure will - in time.

This theory is dumb. Maybe Health Canada is just overwhelmed. Or maybe Sona has an incomplete submission or some questionable data.  They did, after all, do part of the validation in Saudi Arabia. Why not at a CRO in Canada or USA?

This could be the most ridiculous theory I've ever heard. If they were pro conservative it would have been approved months ago.
