Sona has a high ranking family member in the current government and they are doing all they can to make sure that this is not seen as a favor to SONA or taken as a scandal so they are keeping quite and letting HC do all they need too prior to approving and not meddling in.

There are also rumors that HC may have done their own validation and thus the delay.

When it comes it will come and we will be greatly rewarded for keeping the faith.

Sorry, but I quite sure you're wrong and anyone who suggests the same. Wikipedia that comments in detail about Geoffrey Paul Regan mentions only about two sisters but no brother. David Regan (Sona) and Geoff Regan (Speaker, House of Commmons 2015-2019) are brothers. Both sons of Gerald Regan (NS Premier 1970-78).
