Limitations of Technology
The technology does not make a drone invisible (despite some claims by users here that it is "covert"). Wether a drone is flying using a GPS signal or not sending/receiving any signals at all, it still gives off a radar signature, electronic signature and is visible to the eye.
For military applications, there are issues navigating using a camera and comparing it to a topographic/photo map. For example changes in the terrain from combat, changes in weather and lighting, changes in the season, changes in altitude will all change the in situ imagery compared to the data set carried on the drone.
