Spearmint Completes The Sampling Portion Of The Phase I Work Program On The Perron-East Gold Project In Quebec BySpearmint ResourcesNovember 24, 2020 November 24, 2020 Spearmint Resources Inc. (CSE: SPMT) (OTC Pink: SPMTF) (FSE: A2AHL5)(the Company) wishes to announce that the Company has now completed the sampling portion of the phase I work program over Spearmints Perron-East gold project in the direct vicinity of AMEX Exploration Inc. (AMX.V) (see map below). Laurentia Exploration, the geological team who are conducting the work program, are associated with numerous discoveries and development projects in the region. The phase I work program will include a complete compilation and evaluation of historical data, a high-resolution magnetic survey, and an extensive sampling program. The sampling portion of the phase I work program has now been completed and these samples has now been sent to ALS geochemistry for assaying. The results are expected back in approximately 6-8 weeks. The goal of this initial phase I work program is the identification of the highest priority drill-hole targets. Management cautions that past results or discoveries on properties in proximity to Spearmint may not necessarily be indicative to the presence of mineralization on the Companys properties. James Nelson, President of Spearmint, stated We are pleased to have completed the sampling portion of the phase I work program on our Perron-East gold project in Quebec which has multiple fault lines running through the property. The team at Laurentia Exploration have significant experience in the area having done work for AMEX Exploration (AMX-TSX.v) as well as Starr Peak Exploration (STE-TSX.v) and we look forward to what this phase I work program will uncover. We are also optimistically awaiting the results from the recently completed 10-hole drill program on our Clayton Valley Lithium Clay Project in Nevada. The Nevada lithium drill program encountered the targeted potential lithium hosted claystone in every hole drilled and management is encouraged to have hit substantial intercepts of claystone at close proximity to the surface. This is the largest drill program that Spearmint has ever undertaken and we are very enthusiastic about the pending results. This drill program should enable Spearmint to begin the process to potentially determine a resource estimate for the project. Spearmint is also formulating a follow-up phase II work program for the Goose Gold project in Newfoundland, directly bordering and closest to the discovery by New Found Gold, on which we recently announced the discovery of positive gold indictors with values as high as 973 ppb gold (announced on November 12, 2020). Clearly Spearmint has several near-term catalysts ahead that could be potential game-changers for the Company. Mr. Greg Thomson, P.Geo., a director of Spearmint and a Qualified Person as defined by National Instrument 43-101 has reviewed and approved the scientific and technical disclosure contained within this news release.

I am pretty excited for these results.  Looking at the major fault lines it looks like potential for the property to hold something.  Fault line to the south and the north.  Could get something going through the middle of the property.  Time will tell. good luck all.  There is definetey a lot of pumping going on, which I don't mind because I'm invested. ...more

LOL, I can't be the only one to notice the glaring flaw in that NR, surely.  They completely "forgot" to mention how many samples were taken or if ANY mineralization had been observed?!?!  They didn't even say even what kind of samples were taken?!  WTF ??!
Comment by ErinBrockovich on Nov 24, 2020 12:22pm
Yeah, I noticed that. BTW, most of the property they have on Perron is located in and around a few  spread out municipalities, towns - Saint-Vital-de-Clermont and close to Chazel. These areas have been explored in the past. The results I posted some time ago show low indicators for gold. Some copper. So, not very exciting. Assay results will take 8 weeks. A very long time to find no gold ...more

Yeah I agree further information would have been nice. They have laurentina explorati9n doing the work though.  Same company as amx is using so they are in good hands. I think they gave an outline on the intital plan of the test holes, magnetic survey etc.

Respectfully Chad their initial Phase 1 description was the same vague bullschitte. For all anybody knows it could be a joke like the NFLD "work program" - an afternoon of wandering around moose pasture collecting a few soil samples and not enough rock samples to fill the geologist's backpack.

Too funny. And true.

well what do you want and how would that help an investor.  Well what are you wanting?  Just more info on sampling or trenching program? You want a comprehensive work scope?    Spearmint Commences Operations on its Perron-East Gold Project in Quebec in the Vicinity of AMEX Exploration October 28, 2020  ...more

I guess what I mean is the initial program is pretty basic,   So what details were missing in your opinion?
Comment by KozmoT on Nov 24, 2020 7:54pm
All they reported on in this NR was the sampling done on the property but, incredibly, they "forgot" to say how many samples were taken, if any mineralization was noted (if they were in fact rock samples) - they even "forgot" to say what kind of samples they were talking about - creek bed?, soil?, rock float samples?  outcrop? Who does THAT? Why bother even releasing the ...more

We have to remember this is an intital work program.  11500 acres is a big plot of land.  I agree some more details might have been nice about the work program but it's going to be pretty high level at this point.  Looking for gold indicators and get some better idea of the land.  The report will cover the findings I think you are looking for right now.  I am not ...more
