Substantially Increased Land Package in Brazil

Lithium isn’t going anywhere anytime soon. As demand continues to increase for the resource and other battery-related metals, prices are expected to continue climbing. For example, demand for lithium in 2021 was 100,000 tonnes, and that’s expected to double by 2025 while supply remains fairly stagnant. And with car companies scrambling to secure deals with lithium miners (GM recently invested $650M into LAC), there’s a lot of profit to be made.

EMIN is a company focusing on developing battery metal assets in both Canada and Brazil with recent confirmation of lithium pegmatites at their project in Brazil from a rock and soil surface sampling program. More recently, they have increased the size of their Brazilian portfolio by 700%.

- EMIN will acquire 100% ownership from Talisman in 12 exploration permits comprising approximately 22,000 hectares of surface area in Minas Gerais, Brazil.
- The licenses are located to the west of the large Xuxa lithium deposit of Sigma Lithium and to the northwest of the CBL lithium mining operation which could indicate resource potential at the huge land package.
- This now makes them one of the largest land holders in the area providing a lot of exploration and catalyst potential.

Overall, with their current land ownership and macroeconomic support, the current market cap of $7.6M makes this one to watch especially as they pursue further exploration this year.
