Good news from Setti and back in again!

Mail from Setti;

Hi Thomi
Just to be clear we did not specify that TAAT™ will be on store shelves as of Friday November 27, 2020. In the October 16, 2020 press release in which we disclosed this date, it was in reference to when the initial supply of TAAT™ would arrive at warehouses in Ohio. Because we introduced a "Buy one, get one free" ("BOGO") offer as part of our launch strategy, we procured revised packs that promote this offer which are currently in motion, as detailed in our November 27, 2020 press release. In that same announcement, it was stated that the new packs would arrive at our contract manufacturer's facility within ten days. Launch efforts for TAAT™ have been underway since October 2020, including a widespread digital marketing campaign, production of 600 lb / 272 kg of Beyond Tobacco™ per day at our production site in Las Vegas, NV, and sales efforts led by a Key Accounts Manager based in Ohio with more than a decade of sales experience with one of the world's largest tobacco companies.

We understand that investors are eager to see the product on shelves of tobacco retailers in Ohio, however we have maintained this would occur in Q4 2020 and remain on track to achieve that milestone within this timeframe. Additionally, we have been very transparent about our day-to-day activities comprising the current launch of TAAT™ which include the production and publication of videos such as commentary and in-store footage from our Key Accounts Manager for Ohio, a firsthand demonstration of the TAAT™ user experience by our Founder Joe Deighan, and live-action clips from TAAT™ being produced in the facility of our contract manufacturer who makes cigarettes for leading global tobacco brands. Links to these video clips have been provided below in the same sequence.

I hope this addresses your concerns regarding whether or not TAAT™ is real.

Did you really ask him if TAAT was real? Those video were there since a few months.

TAAT is real remember this: nowbody 'sells' of product that do not exist LOL https://tobaccoreporter.com/2020/08/17/beyond-tobacco-test-batch-sells-out-in-three-days/

I never doubted that TAAT is "real" but I still maintain that designating a specific date ....November 27, 2020... as "the launch date" was very misleading.  Many investors expected "something materially significant" to occur on that date.  Such an event would affect the SP positively but the reverse happened when the "launch" was a non-event and ...more

Agreed. Very misleading and I'm still not convinced there wasn't a hiccup in the process they're not sharing. I still don't understand why they would not produce a short video proving they're at point-of-sale at some locations already. If trucks were rolling on nov 27 there is nowhere in North America they couldn't have reached by now.  I was a big supporter of this ...more

I think you and a lot of other investors are over reacting. The way I read it, the shipment was originally scheduled to leave manufacturing facility on the 27th. Which may or may have not been slightly delayed due to the BOGO packaging. It still has to arrive at distributor, then get placed in SKU and in their system before any retailer can even order it. Once available for order the retailer will ...more

Then why print posters for retail buyers that say Nov 27? There were literally posters on windows in stores that said nov 27. If I see a poster at the theatre that say 'Mission Impossible 3 November 27" would I not conclude its in the theatre November 27?

It wouldn't surprise me to find out the the sales Rep, Michelle, may have arranged for a case or 2 to have been dropped in that store and or stores where she put the posters. Just to see what happens, we just don't know about it yet. Patience grasshoppers.

amillionorbust:  Thanks for your comments.  I feel much the same as you about management's decision making after what I now call the launch date fiasco.  I am starting to think Setti knows a lot about cigarette marketing but he doesn't appear to know much about how retail small CAP investors think and invest in spec stocks.  I bought 26K at various times starting in ...more

I too am a bit dissapointed in a bumbled launch date and weak commuincations, but I must tell you I am still very long TAAT and I am also sure that non of the exutives really care too much about the day trading and speculators that frequent this board - It gives me more confidence as an investor that they are not looking for a $6 share price at which to bail and move on... They are looking way ...more
