Beyond Everything
When it comes to Philip Morris, their IQOS product that won't do the trick. This is not the future. They've spent like 8-10 Billion USD on this but it will fail.
The only way for Altria and Philip Morris (and other tobacco companies) is to really go BEYOND NICOTINE. This means doing what TAAT is doing. PM knows as well as Setti that people tend to go back to real cigarettes after trying vaping and other nicotine products. To put a battery in their mouths wont do it. Smokers want to smoke.
The future is NOT smoke-free. It's nicotine free. It's not about finding an alternative to cigarettes, it's about re-inventing the cigarette. The future is TAAT - BEYOND TOBACCO. And right now TAAT is beyond everything else on the market. They are miles ahead of any potential competition.
PM have said this:
"Announces its target of at least $1 billion in net revenues from ‘beyond nicotine’ products in 2025"
What does that mean? I think they are talking about hemp and/or cannabis in some form. Like I have said before a whole new product category is entering the world of smoking. CBD/hemp cigarettes will be the next thing. It has only just started. Forget about vaping and IQIS, And of course PM is well aware of all this. And when they enter the scene (and they will at some point) the whole category will become much, much bigger and this is very, very good for TAAT.
If Altria would like to buy a stake of TAAT, like they did with JUUL that would give TAAT a multibillion dollar valuation. Altria bought 35% of JUUL and automatically gave JUUL av 38 billion dollar valuation. An suddenly JUUL was on the map, a giant and it looked like it came from nowhere.
This can happen. Hold on to your shares. This is only the beginning.
