TAAT A Billion Dollar Company 2021.

TAAT A Billion Dollar Company 2021.

Yes, at least in my mind. This is what I see within 1 year from now. You see, I don't really care about if the share price goes up or down right now. Yes, I am of course happy to see my investment grow since I bought last summer and it also feels great that I was right. But I am mostly focused on where the share price will be in one year.

I have a very clear picture in my mind where TAAT will be in a near future. As long as the fundamentals don't change I am a firm believer that they will succeed beyond what anyone thought was possible.

"The trick is not to learn to trust your gut feelings, but rather to discipline yourself to ignore them. Stand by your stocks as long as the fundamental story of the company hasn’t changed.”
Peter Lynch.

1. Around 150-200 MUSD in sales. They will need to ramp up production capacity like x4. TAAT has right now the capacity to produce 1,088 kg of Beyond Tobacco per day. Which means 5,760 cartons per day. Which is 115,200 cartons per month. And 1,382,400 cartons per year (today’s production is 690,000 cartons per year). If they ramp up x4 it will result in 5.529.600 cartons per year.

2. TAAT will have established a whole new smoking category and they will be the No. 1 Tobacco & Nicotine-Free Alternative Cigarette Brand in the US, to start with.

3. The TAAT brand will be known by most smokers in the US. The cigarettes will also be available to almost every American smoker (some states excluded).

4. TAAT will be featured in media and compared to other disruptive growth companies like Tesla and Beyond Meat. If TAAT really succeeds I see the same kind of journey as Tesla which went up almost 20.000 % in 10 years.  And Beyond Meat's initial public offering price was 25USD. And about three months later it almost hit 235USD. An incredible gain of 840% for the investors who believed, bought and understood what was going on. This is what media around the world will talk about in relation to TAAT.

5. TAAT will be listed on Nasdaq and be one of the most wanted stocks among international investors. Simply on every investors and fund managers lips.

6. Big capital infusion. Could be made by Debbie Chang/Horizons Venture but there will be many willing investors who would like to participate. It could also be Altria doing a JUUL and buying like 35% of TAAT. I don't believe in a complete buyout, at least not during the first 1-2 years.

7. US. Patent approval for the refinement process of Beyond Tobacco.

8. TAAT will be sold outside the US as well, in several other countries. Maybe even China or other parts in Asia.

9. A major deal with a big convenience store/gas chain like Circle K and probably others as well.

10. Analyst coverage from several analysts resulting in a range of SP targets and buying recommendations.

The future is NOT smoke-free. It's nicotine free. It's not about finding an alternative to cigarettes, it's about re-inventing the cigarette. The future is TAAT - BEYOND TOBACCO. And right now TAAT is beyond everything else on the market. They are miles ahead of any potential competition.

So, based on all this what do you guys think the company will be worth on February 17, 2022?

I'm gonna say 30$!
Comment by GaryMill on Feb 17, 2021 11:41am
I'am leaning more toward $50 or more. Once this hits the NASDAQ ,online sales, then international and if they get Asia on board by this year the more it is.

.......excellent post.......$30.00 USD.......thank you...

Just listened to Joe Deighan, founder of TAAT says... that they are aiming at 300 pallets per month!!!!.... today they can do 80 pallets per month. So 300 pallets equals 432.000 cartons per month which is 5.184.000 per year... which is in line with my own estimates... see above, wow $TAAT
Comment by wannabericher on Feb 17, 2021 5:08pm
432,000 per month x avg $40 per online sale = $17,280,000 x 12 months = $207,360,000 x gross margin of say 30% = $62,000,000 x P/E of say 17 (PMI 2020) = $1.057B / by shares of 93m = $11.37 SP ...  assuming my calculator is working properly. Cheers!

RLX is getting a multiple of 100 x sales, why not use that in your calculations?
Comment by Differenza on Feb 17, 2021 5:23pm
I think that we eventually will end up having a multiple of like x20-40... this is a growth play with a huge potential market.
Comment by wannabericher on Feb 17, 2021 7:12pm
17 is the Philip Morris P/E, tobacco industry is generally in the same sort of range ... just trying to keep the guesstimate close to reasonable. Cheers!
Comment by RHGrhg on Feb 17, 2021 8:44pm
In my opinion a more accurate valuation comparison would be the p/s ratio RLX is getting. The comparison Bc Taat and RLX are growth companies in the tobacco industry, whilst PMI is a mature dividend paying company. Just my opinion.

More number crunchin' ... The average price in the US is $7.01 x 10 = $70.10 per carton. It seems TAAT may be dscounting a carton on line by 5%. So say the average per carton is actually $66.50 (this assumes they determine price by state of purchase).  $344.7m annual revenue  30% margin = $103.4m x P/E of 17 = $1.75B market cap = $18.90 SP Is my math correct? Cheers!

I know it's exciting to play guess the stock price. Let's let Taat execute and the market will determine the price. Taat's most recent and comparable peer is going to do about $400m in sales this fiscal year and trades at a $40b valuation - Setti mentions this peer in all his recent interviews (RLX). Taat has less than 100m outstanding shares. The math looks good to me....
