TAAT Global Alternatives Inc > It's the pandemic, stupid!

It's the pandemic, stupid!

At the end of the last century, 1992 to be specific, James Carville coined the phrase "It's the economy, stupid" which I think we can use(with a slight modification) to project in some sense what is happening with TAAT's trajectory today. Many investors are flummoxed by the erratic share prices of the past year(not withstanding the initial "it's going to $20 $40 $100 dollar gold rush/we gonna be millionaires in 2 weeks" energy. In times of crisis, people are seeking out the things that bring them comfort( BTW alcohol sales are skyrocketing) , they are not going out looking to try something new,  How many people do you think are considering a nasty bout of nicotine withdrawl at this point in time? I think, very few! Just give me my pack of whatever and we'll deal with something new when all this is over!

From my perspective, TAAT is not faltering in it's effort to get TAAT to market as a serious brand,

So, what's wrong with them, you ask...

It's the pandemic, stupid!

Looking forward to better days....and a great reset with smokers once the worst of the pandemic is behind us...until then....Stay safe and keep promoting TAAT in your own way!

Pandemic, inflation fears , rising interest rates to combate inflation, market running hot for to long.  A lot of reasons for sell offs.  All I know for sure is that when the Market falls like this, it's time to go shopping.  maybe wait till next week though, see what happens tomorrow first.

We had a lot of fears around the presidential election as well, a lot of stocks dipped and recovered  quickly. Hope that's the case hear as well.

You can certainly comfort yourself as much as you like. But if the product was fkying of the shelves the SP would fly to new highs. It might happen. But it is not happening now as you can see on the chart.

It's there first year. Still gathering data. There steadily growing. Just way to slow right now. Not gonna say I'm comfortable, this is very unsettling but I'm very confident in the product itself so I'll wait it out.

NIVES: It is obvious to any experienced investor here that you are 100% right.  TAAT cigarettes are not selling as well as Setti thought and not as well as he told us they would.  I suspect many TAAT shareholders are now deep underwater and facing large losses because they believed that TAAT was going to be able to capture a large market share from Big Tobacco and that is clearly not ...more
