TAAT will have the Advantage!

TAAT being a proprietary tobacco-free and nicotine-free Beyond Tobacco™ material in all three flavours (OriginalSmooth, and Menthol),will have a big advantage over the others. Plus if the heatable sticks are compatible TAAT will have a captive market of 18 - 20 Million users Worldwide who are already using these devices.

Unlike e-cigarettes, HTPs contain tobacco.4 The World Health Organization (WHO) describes the tobacco in these products as being “heated without reaching ignition to produce an emission containing nicotine and other chemicals”.5 According to tobacco companies, by heating the tobacco, rather than burning like conventional cigarettes, the formation of harmful substances created at high temperature associated with combustion is significantly reduced.6 This tobacco industry reduced-risk claim has yet to be fully supported by independent scientific evidence, as discussed below. IQOS, produced by Philip Morris International (PMI) is the most widely available HTP, with by far the biggest share of the heated tobacco market, but the other big three transnational tobacco companies (TTCs) all now have HTPs, Imperial Brands being the last to launch a product in 2019 (see below). South Korean tobacco company KT&G also has a growing share of the HTP market and, in 2020, a new partnership with PMI to commercialise KT&G’s range of Lil HTPs and e-cigarettes.78 China National Tobacco also has an HTP called Mok.910 This page focuses on the four main transnational tobacco companies and their interests in HTPs.

They are NOT different market segments. They both address smokers. 1) smokers used to the conventional way. 2) Smokers wanting a new way. TAAT is going to be on the leading edge of both markets with it's "Beyond Tobacco, Beyond Nicotine"offerings. IMO this new "heat and burn" device will probably used to deploy numerous TAAT Wellness products in the near future.

HnB is definitely a market segment  of the cigarette smoking market. Only time will tell if "TAAT is going to be on the leading edge of both markets with it's "Beyond Tobacco, Beyond Nicotin e"offerings."   It is obvious to observers who understand marketing that TAAT is having difficulty gaining a dominant and profitable market footprint in the cigarette ...more

Looks like the poda people are scared of TAAT's new HnB product! Posting BS here on the TAAT thread proves it beyond a doubt. TAAT just pole jumped right by poda it seems, I'd be worried too if I were poda.

I thought initially this could be good for PODA as they may work with them at some point....just a thought but who knows.... I think it's good for both....Poda shares have been sold to a low price.
