Number of cigarettes a container can hold

Per hamburg-container.com, a 40 foot container can hold 10 million cigarettes  I assume that equates to 500,000 cartons.

Good find Jim! But I think it's 500,000 packs of cigarettes, 50,000 cartons.

Thanks for the catch Gordon. I don't smoke but was thinking packs when I typed cartons after dividing by 20.  Us 80 year olds are not as sharp as we would like to be sometimes.
