Tcf just issued millions of warrants. That's why. The real question you should be asking is... what price is their short position? These shorts are gonna make a killing when the warrants get exercised. I'm willing to bet the one holding the big short position also has a very large stack of warrants. And is the same one making the huge buys on the large dips.

The .46 warrants has the accelerated clause right? So yes, they'll probably be looking to exercise those before they are forced to. Probably at the same time as the .50 warrants They'll wait for a nice pump in the price, dump their shares and warrants.... crash the price and close their short positions on the bottom. Penny stocks are all the same.

Without researching it the majority related to the future exercise of warrants here to raise cash. Others will short even a .02 stock betting on on sp drop or failure. Here methinks it is the warrants.
