At about the 12 minute mark of this interview with Art Halleran, I was particularly intrigued by one of Trillium's stated, near term objectives. They will investigate the possibility of discovering very large or even huge pools (charged balloons) of natural gas in the amounts of 20 to 200 MCF or even 1TCF.
Another discovery was recently made by another company to the north of Trillium's property in the amount of approximately 19 TCF. So by implication, Art Halleran determined that these large stratifications do indeed have the potential for these huge of pools of gas. These larger stratifications are well worth pursuing.
He is clearly excited about the future prospects for the company and had fully expected to find the company's shares, already worth, far more than one dollar US amount that the research analysis, suggested that the company, might be worth, a year from now.
But not every investor has an expert's ability to analysis the local geology. But now, we all know!
Art did mention that this research analysis was a very conservative estimate of what the company should be finally be worth in one year's time.
Obviously, it could be worth, a great deal more!
https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=uaQsaPlByxA I would suggest that this belief might also, now be held, by many of the investment community, currently invested in the company's shares. A lot of people are buying into the argument. But it appears that many sellers, may have, an opposing view.
One might also conclude that some of this world wide contagion, currently afflicting the market with recessionary fears, is inducing much of the heavy downward, selling pressure, on energy stocks at the present time.
Trillium is not immune to this disease. But it is not fatal.
The cure for this temporary affliction comes with the discovery and exploitation of the company's untapped resources. They may be found one day to be vast in amount. Investors in today's market place, plagued with uncertainty, need something of some significance, to which to grasp and cling.
Today's smaller pools of gas available to exploit by Trillium, will each in turn, become quickly depleted. So it is important for the company to rapidly drill new wells and tie them together, to simulate the effect of producing a well, of a much more, massive scale. And the process must continue unabated. Luckily, Trillium has access to a large field with much potential for future growth.
As well, Mr. Halleran also mentioned that Trillium will soon be in a better position to make more property acquistions from other parties whom were unable, in the past, to commercialize their property holdings. Many unfortunate set backs occurred during the recent covid pandemic. But today's financial success is its own reward. Mr. Halleran understands!
One company's misfortune may often result in gain by another. Astute acumen, a little luck and perfect timing may make everything, best come together, at the proper time.
Such is what, is now transpiring at the present time with Trillium Energy. What months ago, might have been considered by some investors as a great misfortune, the lack of a viable drilling platform, is now considered a blessing in disguise.
Now, the exploitation of the entire gas field, held by Trillium will be better compensated, by the payment of 3 times more than it would have received, even a year before.
Remember also, that each well, due to its limited size, has a short time frame for it's most profitable exploitation. Now the price is extremely high. But with the coming of Winter, it could always go, even a little bit higher!
More competition for local resources is not really a viable option, at the present time. Art mentions that another player would take up to at least a year, to play catch up with the local geology and to get their drilling infrastructure, set up, well in place.
So down a short term road, say a year from now, are we really looking at a share price limited to only a dollar US in price? Not very likely, as new gas fields are continually brought on line and sold to a captive market.
And further, what if the motherload of all gas fields is actually discovered, possibly in a shallow well? This is one of the nearer term goals that the company would be thrilled to achieve. The local geology now suggests, it is, a real possibility!
What would happen to the share price then?
It is no wonder that Art Halleran is one excited guy.
It may be a long shot. But, what would happen, if it really came to pass?
Just something to ponder, while we wait.
All the best! Java
