Trillion Energy International Inc. > Warrant Expiry Date

Warrant Expiry Date

Thanks SuperTrader for the information about the warrant expiry date.

But I guess that since many on this board consider any possible takeover bid, unlikely at this    time, it is also unlikely that warrants offer any potential upside for shareholders until Trillion's earliest production date.

These warrants might offer some measure of protection from market volatility but holding cash can do that and much better.

And holding cash offers better opportunity as investors scour the market looking for better deals.

Two million shares traded last day. That's a lot of shares bought and sold if most investors here are just trading the spread.

That brings me back to my original thought about computer generated activity by hedge funds. However, it is also possible that because the price is so cheap, for this company, that some individual traders here are working big blocks of shares, for a penny at a time and making some good money at doing it.

It beats working at a labor job that makes you tired at the end of the day. LOL

It all provides liquidity for this company's shareholders as these shares continue to decline in price. But it is not a good spot for the longs to sit in for any length of time. The Canadian energy market provided some good opportunities to do this kind of trading until the energy market there just collapsed. That game is over for now. The same thing will happen here if Russia is defeated and the Eurpean energy market collapses as well.

If not, then even if Europe enters a recessionary period longer than the Americans, then I think that this Turkish based stock, could still do well!

People always need energy to live out their ordinary lives and industry can never completely shut down. People still need to work, even if fewer are actually involved, while the rest live on hand outs from the governments that go deeper and deeper into debt.

We will have to wait for better company news to see if any significant amount of new outside money enters the fold here. For longs, this company may well be, dead money, at least for now.

So maybe, for longs it might be best afterall, just to sell out for now, and seek greener pastures elsewhere for a month, or so, if any others, still do exist.

From what I've heard in the media, many prudent money managers are mostly in cash now or very short duration money market vehicles, to catch any upward momentum of the short term interest rate. That would mean holding cash in American dollars to give the best rate of return.

Trillion is still a good company. But so are many others. And now everything is being sold down.

For longs, stocks suck for now! Volatility traders, rule the day!

Long or short, cash or short term bonds, for now, pick your poison and keep your antidote very close to your chest!

                                             I'm pondering my next move.

To sit pat or move away?

My position is small but much smaller than it used to be...

                                                     All the best! Java

There is no Takeover bid, none whatsoever. Art wants to build a massive resource oil company.
