I assure you chef, with 100% faith in my response, if your think your having any kind of negative impact here, you'd best be getting your ego checked, because that's the easiest question anyone who knows anything, could answer. These boards are for awareness and discussion only.

Just bought my first ever piece of Tcf. I've never done well investing outside North America in energy stocks so here goes nothin! Can someone save me looking it up about the warrants? Exercise and expiry? I'm just not sure why anyone would buy 26 cent warrants on a 46 cent stock.

Thanks, I get it. I'll stick to the stock. Plenty of "leverage" to drill results in the stock for me.

Exercise price 50 cents expiry June 30 2025. They are 2 cents out of the money, so premium is about 1 cent per month to expiry. Way undervalued, but as soon as SP goes over 50 cents, it will trade pretty much the same as the stock.

Maybe the warrants are keeping the price of TCF under .50. Notice how this is trading in that range for a long time.

Correction. I'm in. What will you do after stockhouse enforces new posting regime? Go to twitter or "truth" with the trumpians? Meh, as long as you go, don't care where.

Oh, wow, that's huge premium in the warrants. 100% roughly to breakeven. If I ran a hedge fund I'd do the opposite suggested by others. Long stock, short warrant. But I don't think I'd have the patience to wait until 2025 for the payoff as the premium erodes to zero. So I'll just go long stock. Drill baby drill.

Made me look it up. Exercise is .50 $CDN so it's not that bad. Premium is "only" 65%. Ish. Here's my "show your work". 26 cents to buy the warrant plus 50 cents to exercise it. Total cost 76 cents on June 29, 2025. Compared to buy the stock now at 46. So 76/46 = 65.2% premium.

Wont matter if the stock is $5. Or 0.
