Bizarre partnership

Is it odd that the new partnership is not with an oil/gas company but rather with a Turkish chemical manufacturer that appears to be -partly- in the shoe business. I'm guessing they own the land/rights and figure that TCF can help them branch out.

Oil and gas are the feedstocks into nearly every chemical process of every chemical manufacturer. Nearly every shoe now made is from one or more kinds of plastic, which said plastics are the output of chemical manufacturers.  It couldn't be more obvious......  This Turkish firm knows exactly what they're doing,  and more importantly..............  WHY!

I can't follow that website. My Turkish is a bit sketchy. But I'd look into who owns this little shoe company and what ties there may be to other companies, government, high ranking politicians, etc. because, no, there is no obvious fit with a shoemaker.

All I know is, the acreage is only 11-12 km away from two new oil field discoveries with over 1 billion bbls of in-place oil. I love closeology.  A 50% interest in a 1-300 mm bbl oilfield will move the needle on the stock price.
