I think you left out one thing. The gas they found may have been more than expected. So they need to let things run and ballance the wells and see how near max pipe cappacity they are. It makes little sence to drill more wells untill the ones we have are near the point where they produce less than maximum pipe capacity. Then you add all the money we will be banking by not drilling, the possible wild cat well in the curdish area and you have many good reasons to hold or buy on dips.

You have it all correct but for one thing:  the oil blocks are most definitely not  "wildcats".  A "wildcat" well is one drilled in some area where there is no nearby  production;  nada, zilch, zippo, bupkis. These blocks are surrounded by prolific  production on all sides.  It would take an  almost-impossible geological anomaly
