"Snubco Group ... www.snubco.com ... will be installing the velocity string during the month of October. They are currently acquiring the material required to perform the work and arranging for it to be shipped to site. Also, Scott Lower, President of the subcompany Park Place Energy, a very technical guy, is highly involved in what's going on in Turkey and overseeing the work!

Scott is finance guy and I dont believe he can manage a snubbing operation. I cant understand why they make such a statement in their operational update. Operations are different than the finance right?

They say the unit is good to go with tripods as well as akckoca platform. Good point but then i wonder if it is going to be completed in 20 days. The inter mob between platforms should take some time. I think there should be more updates to come with timing and cost.

Very big chance to have the unit in Black sea.

I hope someone is eveluating the pumps if the VS fails in some of the wells. I would use the same unit for pump installation to cut cost.

Scott has now become an all-rounder and manages everything. More interesting, however, is the issue of money and time. TCF says that VS will start in 2 weeks. But now they are talking about October, which in turn means November and maybe December. If Halleran starts saving today and doesn't generously distribute the money to family, friends and mates including himself, he could have some left ...more

You see more delays coming..CEO has stated in the dispatch that he has booked that snubbing unit with a contractor, CEO has also stated that they had all equip and supplies, all consumables purchased and neccessary for VS install. This seems a little premature, if they have not received Partner Consent to proceed. No mention of that approval, thats an important component in this installation ...more
