TOC closes at $1.44, trading 123,000 shares.
For those of you still left standing after touching $1.01 late last week, here we are back up near its all-time high. I don't know how many of the shorts have covered yet (last Friday the short tally was about 380,000 shares) but when someone came in late today and filled all the sell orders up over $1.40, perhaps there are a few more people short. My undertanding is, and I could be wroing, but in order to short a stock it must me on the up-tick, which prevents shorters from just coming down on the bid, in essence there actually has to be a buyer for their short offer to get filled. In fact, sometime when shorts cover quickly they actually buy some one else offer who is trying to short. Given the action on TOC and the number of great projects, I sure wouldn't want to be short on this one.
