What is your roi thus far, net-net of all buys and sells.... curious on the flipper side how it has panned out...from my initial buy at 15.5 and averaged down to .11, so im at just over 4x... Funny part is dead money for 6 months, with the large majority of gains in the last 10 days or whatever,

I'll have to do the math on that one as I have bought and sold it (and most of the other names in the sector) several times, and in various accounts.   No question though I would be further ahead as a % had I bought all my TRIP stock in the $0.075 to $.08 range where I first started buying it at start of November and never sold a share.   I don't think I would be up by ...more

Sam....do you buy at 45 cents tomorrow or do you sell your positions in full......do you think it has a morning run to 50 cents or do the shorts bring it back to reality don't forget that short momentum is just a powerful as fomo momentum once that train starts rolling don't go walking down the tracks.. I bought in and out several times too but should have just held my big position at 7 ...more

True seeing the shake out get chomped up reminds me of the early days of weed.  Smiles and cry’s incoming

I'm going to be holding at this point.  I may add more on the dips (although position size getting fairly hefty so won't be able to buy that much more).  If stock hits $0.75 will re-evaluate.   $0.75 gives it a market cap of $161 Mil.

Not too long ago and I can't recall who but someone said $.50 by Christmas and I rolled my eyes. Sam R says he'll reevaluate at $.75 and I say, interesting and doable. ( obviously no prediction by me on when)
Comment by SamRothstein on Dec 14, 2020 11:53pm
Swim, yes it was the criminal scumbag MrAMG7 who said that except he said $.25 by Christmas guaranteed. Very next day he tells board he sold at $.18 and we should all buy another stock that he was now pumping. I def think this stock has potential to go to $.75 and higher.  I just would never gurantee anything to anyone, and anyone that knows anything knows there are no guarantees in market ...more

Sam R, some wise thoughts. Hoping TRIP is my make up stock for some poor choices. So far so good but let's see what's down the road, or should I say up the road, or better yet along the road. I believe 2021 will be a great year for us shareholders.Should be interesting to hear what Todd has to say on his next interview with the Wall Street reporter. As I previously said, I was impressed ...more

thanks Swim.  and fret not, because there are no investors (or gamblers) that haven't made many bad calls in the markets.  If you look at any of the analysts, hedge fund or mutual fund managers, basically anyone that runs money, you will see all kinds of bad calls. Even Buffett has lost close to a billion on I believe no less than 3 different stocks.  I've made mistakes ...more

We may get pullbacks, but at these levels and at this time, I dont think a big crash, resulting from sellers and or shorters will happen. I see more upside to come, over weeks/month(s), even if we trade side ways or pullback at some point. Short term pullback may come tomorrow or soon, but we should run more after that. If we go to high, I'll gradually pull out profits. Remember, Tilray went ...more
