I was told that it would run up but it keeps going down. Yikes. Slow and steady - also referred to as a "downtrend". If a stock goes down 50% and then rises 30% (which is what is likely to happen), do not get excited. This is going nowhere until the merger goes through. Not what folks on this board want to hear but it is the harsh reality.

If you are wondering why I hope you get filled since that means stock going down, its because I don't care if stock falls some more, so if you can get a great deal at $.25 i say good for you.   These short term gyrations no longer concern me as for as TRIP is concerned.

I see you are back to being very certain.   I fully agree it is possible that stock stays in this range until merger.   Also possible that it goes up before merger.   I guess the bigger question is does it matter?  If you think it will go lower than of course wait to buy.  If you don't necessarily think it will go down more, but you are certain it won
