What's the TRIP Potential?

For all you more experienced members of the thread, what is the difference between a pot trip and a psylicibm journey? How would you explain the differemces?

As a Herbalist I find 'pot trip' funny. A first time user will feel any number of ways as it affects everyone differently. Think of catnip. About 20 % of cats don't react. 80% do. My friend had heart palpitations and her body didn't like it. I felt nothing the first two times I smoked and then found it pleasant and relaxing and sleep inducing. Psilocybin helped my anxiety with 2 ...more

thanks. Helpful. I am trying to assess the potential market for Psilocybin. Your reference to one or two experiences and you are still benefiting from the profound benefits and impact it has had on you. Many others have shared that type of impact. But from a size of market perspective, people are not going to be consuming Psilocybin on a daily, weekly, monthly or even yearly basis. So companred ...more

Partnering with the gourmet retail farm makes sense now, doesn't it. Micro-dosing is fairly new still.
Comment by JackBNimble26 on Sep 26, 2021 6:26pm
Thanks. But what is the notion of microdosing? Is it like having a joint once a day or is it a once in a lifetime or once every year kind of experience? Is the notion that one could microdose as frequently as one has a joint?  What is the difference in the experiences?

Think of microdosing as a way to improve mental acuity. It may also help with vision and making sound more vibrant for some people. I've only done mushrooms twice myself. The first time it was basically a 6 or so hour long giggle fest. Everything seemed brighter, funnier, sounded better, etc., but I didn't experience any vision abnormalities or black holes of self introspection. The second ...more

IMO, and I pretty sure I'm right, no way, no how, is this going to be approved by the government like booze or cannabis until a fool proof roadside test is available to law enforcemnt. This will be concidered an impairment regardless, and with that, law inforcement will need tools in their belt to detect this "new high" the goverment is allowing. So until a measurable test can be ...more

News Flash. Mushrooms are already in the recreational market. The only difference is that right now, being illegal, you don't know where they're coming from and if there's anything else mixed in with them. Also, microdosing psilocybin is not even close to the same thing as going on a deep dive trip into a different universe. Speaking from personal experience, I know that small amounts ...more

The "invest in this and get rich quick" doesn't exsist, is that what you're saying? "..dozens of compaies don't raise millions on hype.." Is that what you're saying? I have only one thing to say about those two things, ever heard of Bridgemark Group? How about ATT, AFI or BE? (among many others) If you're going to make a statement, provide some reasonable ...more

at this point, facts are being cemented. there is only one precedent, that being cannabis. the gravity and scale of wha tthis sector has done, both recreationally and clinically is not done on hype without a path to success, regulatory approvals and revenu models... i never made those other statements, you have misconstrued... clinical and rec are inverse as it relates to canna.  clinical ...more

Psilocybin WILL NEVER BE SOLD RECREATIONALLY IN CANADA OR US. You can laud it's abilities to create false sunshine and rainbows all you want, but it won't happen because it's vertually impossible to test for it in the field. Check this out, it's a website for a lab that does testing. $189 and up to 4 days to receive a correct result. A different result could be obtained for any ...more

with all due respect, the issue is not if you have whateveer in your body, its how does that impact your capacity to drive. All of the standard methods for LE to assess competence to drive can be done for all of them. Any of the following could impair your judgement and competence to drive: booze, cough syrup, pot, allergy medications, TRIP's offerings, exaustion from lack of sleep etc. Have ...more

you talk like a cop or osmeone who just has never and will never get it. we get it, you were always above the law so never exposed to these types of substances or you ran in a circle where these were not present. you couldnt be more wrong, as you arent understanding the socieconomic impact of legalization.  that is even awawy from the therapeutic and economic factors.  you are missing ...more

" Mushrooms aren't chemically addictive, and I don't even think you can overdose on them."  I remember one guy in Equator who was spending the mushroom seasons in Esperanza. He was eating some everyday. After a few weeks he needed more mushrooms to get the same high. Like a tea pot full of it. He was a bit of a speed freak but he was able to handle much  more than us ...more
