Acreage Holdings would be a perfect acquisition target

Look at the different footprints, there is minuscule amount of overlap. I could see Trulieve taking out this company next to keep Canopy out of the USA.

trulieve needs access to New York and New Jersey.. Connecticut is on the brink of legalizing, Ohio as well. More M/A to come out of trulieve to be number 1.

Impossible, Canopy Growth bought them.

Canopy didn't buy then- they have the right to buy them?

They will buy them, they need them. Would like more a merge with Green Thumbs or Cresco Labs.

There is a termination fee of 150 million payable to Canopy if Acreage decided to walk away from the deal. I know it is a lot of money but it might be worth it for the footprint and how undervalued Acreage is trading right now. There could be a bidding war.
