The good, bad and ugly

Good: Q1 2018 vs Q1 2017 is obviously a huge beat and has shown that even in the off season they can make money.

Michael Burns, CEO and Director of Global UAV stated: “These revenue numbers are very significant for Global UAV. They only represent approximately two full operating months of our services division due to the Christmas holiday season. Further, the financials prove that our services can generate substantial revenue year-round. Traditionally, many UAV service companies that focus on remote sensing and photogrammetry products have limited work streams over the winter months. Global UAV was able to maintain its revenues through adverse weather-conditions due in large part to the high-level experience and operational abilities of our field crews and UAV products. We also successfully completed our first night-flight survey operations which are critical in maintaining productivity during the shorter daylight hours of northern winters. As our international markets continue to expand, we look forward to increasing our winter-month revenues in 2018.”

Also, balance sheet is looking healthier imo with more cash, receivables and a current ratio of 2.11.

Bad: Expenses are at $825,000. The majority of expenses are consultant fees and share based compensation (i think about 40-50%). It seem as though every quarter we get higher expenses in these areas. I understand the accounting structure for this, but it makes it hard to predict.
Also if we keep buying companies and issuing more shares we will become diluted very quickly.

Ugly: I have a feeling investors were hoping for a huge bang coming out of 2017 (myslef included), but are now disappointed even though these numbers arent terrible for the low sesason. Im patient enough to wait a few more quarters to see what the busy season looks like, especially given all the great news since February, however I fear many short-termers will sell off their positions. That being said it will probably effect the share price negatively.
We'll see!

Over all im seeing the positives in this year old company. I know some will bash this little stock down, but those who are following closely will see all the progress!!!
Have a great day!

This will make the AIR deal (much) more expensive in terms of share dilution.   From the NR: Pursuant to the terms of the LOI, and subject to the execution of a definitive share exchange agreement, Global UAV will purchase all of the outstanding and issued common and preferred shares of AIR for the sum of $2.4-million, which will be paid as $600,000 in cash (a portion of which will be used to ...more

WTF is so bad about this deal kid ? This is a standard practice among micro cap start-ups.....you realize this right? AIR will end up getting about 15M shares, give or take.  Not bad at all.  The market will easily be able to absorb that....especially come Q3 and beyond. Snickel

When the deal was announced (March 6), UAV traded @ $0.15. That’s when the share portion should have been locked in. 12 Mil shares instead of 15 Mil shares or more. An extra 3% dilution doesn’t sound like a lot but it is.   Unless AIR has sales in excess of $2.4 Mil with great earnings, AIR clearly out-negotiated UAV.   I also don’t like the way UAV announced the Q1 results in their NR ...more

Insider greed, insider enrichment or whatever you want to call it is exactly what I expect out of these penny stocks but these guys are taking it to the extreme and taking all of our possible gains with it. Always have to look at past performance and ties to other companies to see what will likely be the end result. I can almost guarantee our next great news will be a PP at .10 or below. Another ...more

I am not overly concerned about 15M  vs  12M  for the AIR deal. I think you overestimate the expenses............and there were large one-time expenses on the Q4 that we will never see again. When this thing gets rolling the Share compensation for the guys running the show will seem relatively unimportant. Additionally, all this dilution you are talking about, which isn't much ...more

Holy shiiiit. How much B s spin can you put in one post. Get real dumbo.

Snickel ... Stop while you have some credibility left.   Don’t defend a deal (AIR) which should have been cut differently.   Don’t defend large one time expenses related to acquisitions. The auditor clearly came to the conclusion that UAV overpaid. Thus the humongous write-downs.   Don’t defend share based compensation which is simply indefensible.   As for me being interested  ...more

Amen kidl2. You explain it much better than I do. My emotions take over a bit but same message overall. Super tough finding a penny stock that acts in the shareholders best interest and so far I dont think I have found one in UAV. That could change with the right management.
Comment by kidl2 on Apr 03, 2018 2:26pm
Yes, they are very hard, if not impossible, to find. Actually I don’t know a single one which purely works for non-insiders’ best interest but that’s understandable and ok as these guys don’t run so called “charities”. Most of which are anything but charities but that’s a topic which doesn’t belong here.   There are some who give outsiders a fair shake and that’s about as much as “we” can ask ...more

arent you getting tired of holding these bags of poop? lol.. seems like wherever I see you surface on stockhouse you're holding a bag of hot stinky turds.
Comment by noelstrife on Apr 03, 2018 1:53pm
my guess is that you bought in between .15 - .20 on the hype (as usual) which is when smart money was unloading and waiting patiently for the dump to buy back in... like me... got my bid set for bottom and will scoop up those cheap shares as they fall from the turd trees.

I enjoy reading your posts KidI2. It's nice to see a long term investor call it like it is and you shouldn't be labelled a basher or troll for it either. I think a lot of people here were dangerously optimistic with the revenues. As a first-mover in a new sector we should be hoping for sustainable growth not quarter-over-quarter growth in multiples of two or three. I will be reassessing my ...more

it's nice to see the people who have been holding long are finally seeing the picture here. Snickel rants like he works for the company or has voting shares. We are all here to make some money and not wanting to wait until we are in wheelchairs to enjoy it. No one here is bashing UAV, just starting to realize they don't give a sh*t about the outsider shareholders.
