Constantine's share price not reflecting acquistion?

I think this was a great pick up by American Pacific. The only thing that I can't figure out is Constantine's current share price. Did the announcement not state that Constantine would receive .881 of every American Pacific share and that it would receive a 48.6% premium over the last 20 VWAP?

Since APM"s share price is currently 0.54 CAD, that would imply Constantine's value would be ~0.47/sh. Am I missing something? At the very least, shouldn't Constantine's share price be 0.43 CAD?

I can;t argue with your math. Also the big reason APM did this is because they have cash to finance the operations that Constantine could not. However with projects they have to fund including their own at Gooseberry, Tuscarora not to mention the outlier projects and Constantine's outlier projects how thin will their cash be spent? They better get the share price up if they are going to raise ...more

Currently trading at 46c equivalent. Either the market thinks the deal is shaky or that USGD will fall to 46c by the time the deal closes. October is a long way away so both are possible. National has been trading the arb for 2 days now, selling USGD and buying CEM. If the deal holds, they make the spread regardless of share price movements. If the deal fails, they could lose or gain, depending on ...more
