Unethical move by CO to block the Shorts from covering.. fo
For those of you who know the game, this was a signature move to leave the shorts and true manipulators in the ditch.
Take a look at short trades after the announcement of the Special Engagement and you could easily see the trap they (shorts) built for themselves. Almost all of them retail.
institutions are holding tight and shorts and cover calls would move the new co to unreasonably high trading prices after listing. The worse part is that shorts could no truly cover and they would lose..
Not a very nice and ethical move to execute early closing and halt trading. While legal, it is unethical.
