Volume

I would believe volume is way too low week over week to consider FN or HBM has an offer forthcoming to take out CAA. Insider rumours would send volume when at 2.20-2.40 well past 400,000 shares a week.

The volume for this week is 93,000 and add in Fri and we see 115,000 for the week. The two prior weeks were 238,000 and 278,000, upside buying. This bottom fishing occured in many mining sector stocks past two weeks.

We are in volatile times. One could expect both drift in price and a higher high as the $2.75 was established. It takes volume to move price. 238,000 purchased at lower price can see a release of 50,000 to 100,000 of those shares placing pressure on current price.  If volume remains small on ask, small buy volume could spike price tomorrow $2.75 to potential Friday high $2.88. Sellers will appear.

It is how big money forces price up / down for re-accumulation.

Agree, a takeout would be sweet. A settlement with HBM would be much sweeter! CAA was undervalued at current dividend payment, market reacted.

Cheers all, see you at the finish line.$2.00 - $4 higher. manxcan.

And a whopping 75,000 traded in the last two days. I doubt there is anything going on here than it seems like the selling pressure has dried up a little. And I would not hold my breath waiting for FN or HBM to take this company ...more
