Global energy prices may struggle but Canadian oil will do well: Energy strategist

Michael Tran, managing director and global energy strategy at RBC Capital Markets, joins BNN Bloomberg to discuss tumbling energy prices. He says another OPEC cut will not help, demand needs to recover to get oil out of this.

Low oil prices will cure low oil prices. Companies will cut back on drilling right quick. $60 oil makes many uneconomical.

I have been doing it on every dip thus far.  This last one was a nasty one but typically within a few days,  you have a recovery.  It had to come as oil was oversold and with the consistent draws,  the oil price was too far disconnected from the supply/demand fundamentals.  What continues to surprise me,  is how many shares keep getting sold out at or near the bottom
