This is Not a Sale! It Is a Sell-Out!
Well, just when CYD is hitting its stride with one excellent drill core report after another and with a good many more to go in delineating this up-and-coming gold district, Management blindsides its shareholders with a giveaway to AEM. $200,000M is a pittance of CYD's value. Just when you think you have found an honest management team (scarce as hen's teeth, I might add), they show you their primary concern is themselves and the shareholders be damned.
I spoke with the IR guy at CYD today. He was evasive but did not deny that this deal would cut the legs out from under the shareholders' opportunity to see CYD's share price rise. Instead that will now go to AEM and, of course, management will be no doubt rewarded along with all the middle-parasites to be compensated for facilititating this theft.
AEM is not a bad major producer as major producers go, but there is certainly no massive upside in that company compared with what is in a quality junior explorer, particularly THIS one.
The last of this saga has not been penned yet. Watch for G to come riding out of the shadows, cash-rich as they be, and make a better counter offer. At least, that is my take. They passed on OSK but this set of properties is temptingly close to Los Filos. I have a sneaking suspicion Chuck Jeannes has his eye on this situation regardless of what is being said. Even that possibility will wrench our upside potential from us but a significantly more compensation is certainly in order. The present offer is ludicrous and is being made because of the downward manipulation of the present gold price. The opportunistic buzzards have come to the feast and Bebek and company have decided to prepare them a buffet of our upside potential.
Sickening, unethical and immoral IMHO.

I agree and told them I thought this was a bad move. Hell they could issue 10million more shares give us the right to buy them and then drill for another 18 months with the proceeds. These kinds of companies don't come along every day
