Takeover Offer
While it is fun to guess at what the value of CYD may be, it is delusional, IMO, to think that we shareholders somehow know better than management.
It is not the function of management to speculate on the future price of gold, which is unknown.
I am as greedy for profits as the rest of you, but will be satisfied with making 150% on my wager in less than a year.
This is not the only opportunity in the gold sector so it is time to move on and re-deploy cash to other emerging opportunities.
Good luck!

Scott, No, I have not. I am waiting for the 3.79 price after it is a done deal. Will it be cash or will we receive AEM stock? I thought cash, but not clear to me. goldguy

what we get is stupidly based on a volume weighted average of the stock price and guess what? someone leaked the deal so AEM price went down. You will also get 1 penny Canadian for each share you own.... wooohooo for that kicker (sarcasm) GG may still make an offer but the clock is ticking.

yeah, but see where it says you will receive .09 of an AEM share (that means 9%) So if you own 1000 shares of Cayden you will receive 90 shares of AEM plus $10 cash. So the price of Cayden will trade in relation to AEM until the deal is done unless they have a cap on the price.

Whoopee! $10! A tenth of a tank of gas! This "deal" is beyond immoral and unethical. It is criminal. Here's hoping the entire shareholder community of CYD has enough sense to vote a resounding and unanimous NO to this pickpocketing and throws the bums (board) including the heretofore apparently respectable Bebek out. He has now shown his true colors.

yes that was a goofy metric that they used, since AEM stock has dropped from the 40's into now the 30's in the past several weeks. the correct equation would be: 0.09 x T.AEM share price + $0.01

I still don't get it. Isn't the offer based on historical prices of AEM, not current prices? The 30 day period ending 9/5/14 had a much higher SP for AEM. That means the offer of 3.79 should be pretty much set right now. goldguy.

All you have to remember is you will .09 shares of AEM for each Cayden share you own. That is why you see them rise and fall together. If you do the math you will see they match exactly according to the ratio.
