Down 9 million in 2 weeks. Can anyone explain how this can be?

the short interest reported is not real-it is part of a synthetic derivative of some kind. The real short position is probably less than 200,000 shares.....It would be better if the exchange differentiated between real and synthetic short positions.

Unfortunately, the TSX doesn't break out real and synthetic short positions. Most of the short positions are synthetic and part of a derivative-In other words, they are not real.
