They have never been profitable, and I'm quite certain you cannot find a publicly traded cannabis retailer that is. There are only a handful of companies in the entire Canadian cannabis industry that are not losing money, and it's going to be a year filled with bankruptcies. The industry will survive, but there is taxation reform needed still to make this whole thing work.
