OK, here is a chart that even the management appolgist should understand.

If you bought shares of CRJ seven years ago, your investment would be at about the same value 9 Actually down -20%).  So hey - you haven't lost anything (er, other than purchasing power or dividends you could have made).  But if you bought GLD or gold bars and burried them in your matress, you would be up 250%!

Gee, up 250% or down -20%.  Hmmm, that is a tough one....  gee, I don't know... which return would I rather have.  But there it is - you can see what management has done or not done with your investment dollars.  Why keep them in place to plod along and do more of the same?

Management is poor and CRJ needs the resources of a bigger company (with strong management) to bring production on within a shorter time horizon. So really you are saying sell your shares and move on or hang tight and wait for ...more
