CRJ is trading at levels commensurate with a price of gold at 1550!

All McMillian can do at this point to try to shore things up is to buy more shares.

With POG under 1700, cash flow from Seabee could be taking a hit.

December:  Let;s not forget that CRJ lost nearly 50% from April 2011 to end of December 2011. No wonder Claude is on Santa's naughty list. Guess shareholders will receive another lump of coal for Xmas from CRJ senior mgmt for the second year in a row.

Good point Lookin_2_Score.  Another way to look at CRJ is how long-term "investors" have faired with CRJ shares. . Looks like only a very few, who were lucky enough to buy CRJ shares at the absolute lows have any kind of positive gain - maybe 10% to 15% or less than 1% annual return. . EVERYONE else is holding a position that is underwater.  Shoot the PP buyers are down 80% now ...more

December3, Your point about past is well made. The past management team hasn't delivered. But there are two points of light.  1. Looks like stock has roughly made triple bottom at current prices. Not a bad entry point. 2. COO and 6 of the site management personal have been changed in the last year.  I think management recognizes their failures. New blood was required. If you are ...more

yaponski - thanks for your thoughts on CRJ. . 1. Sure if one is a TRADER and willing to sell sooner than 1-year +1-day and pay short-term capital gains taxes, sure CRJ might be a buy at some technical level as a Trade.  That said, from a TA perspective I don't see any abatement of the selling here.  In fact, from a TA perspective, if the price is going down and volume is increasing ...more

December3, What a well reasoned response. I see your position.   As a Canadian, 1 hour or 10 year holding times is the same for capital gains purposes. Send it all to Harper :)   I agree that CRJ is still a falling knife. I do tend to invest too early and sell too soon. I'm working on and that is why cash is my single biggest holding. So, I might well get stopped out of my CRJ ...more
