RE:RE: 5 YEARS to mine out the high grade gold at

Mining 55,000 oz a year at 8.80g/t will produce lots of profit, especially if you cut back on the high dollar exploration costs in the non producing areas. Claude has about $30 million in cash flow per year with 6 g/t. If gold goes up the profits will really start flowing in. If told goes down, you can still make the $30 million per year with this material. Lake Shore would LOVE to be in this position. They have to get by with 3.9 g/t. but still produced 85,000 oz last year. It takes a lot more work though. Sometimes it is not just about how many oz a company can produce.

I agree that takinig this profit to expand the size of the current mill would be a wise choice to get to the point were you are producing 75,000oz at 8.8g/t. This in one way cuts into long term production at the mine, but it is important to be able to mine your own gold with out asking for more debt or dilution.

At some point, as the profit start to build, the 1.3 million oz at 9 g/t over at Madsen will come into play.

This company has the assets to build a very nice cash generating machine. It will take some guts to do what it takes to make this happen.

Let's face it, two banking facilities decided to loan Claude money in this environment. Hundreds of other juniors will not be that lucky...

Good post.   Exploration costs should be minimal compared to last year. Madsen drilling is all but done for 2013 imo as a scoping study is undertaken. Most likely, this study will signal additional drills in 2014. Amisk meanwhile is pending a PEA. There might be some drilling prior to this report but most likely, additional drilling will come on the heels of the PEA. As for Seabee, mining ...more

All this sounds good. However, what can Claude do NOW to win back institutional investors at this time? Without BIG buying volume, you're looking at a long term penny stock. Lake Shore may love to be in Claude's position. However, in the short term their share price will rise significantly more than Claude's simply because they have double the production.

Bottomline: It takes a lot more convincing to get someone to buy your stock than to sell it. Higher production and lower costs is what it will take. At this time, Claude doesn't need a 5 year plan, it needs a 5 month  plan to attract BIG MONEY. When a trader can not make money on a stock, he simply finds one where he can. It's all about the money - SHOW ME THE MONEY!!!!

You just better start lookin at facing it, you bought in high, you are going to be underwater for a long, long time.

IMO, we all may have bought in high. There is no upward movement to this stock whats so ever. Not even the insider buyers have been able to catch this falling knife nor are they buying at this level. Without exploration results, there is no news to act as a catalyst  to move the stock upward except for quarterly earnings reports and the price of gold. The CEO will be laughing all the way to ...more

Claude doesn't have 8.8 g/t average grade ore.  If you are optimisic, plug in 6.x g/t into your formula but, not this year.   My numbers for this year have 5.x g/t grade, $1000+ cost per oz and 40 something thousand oz total production.   Their other costs will be lower this year except for interest expense. Q1 production number will be bad and they will still be making payments ...more
