Tee times scarce.

From TGN web site. Regarding scarcity of tee space at Clublink.

Lottery is the most fair way to handle matters. It won't likely ever happen at CL until they make tee times only for home club members at least until say 10 am weekdays and 11 am weekends. As it stands now the members of the home club take matters into their own hands as above to guarantee themselves prime, home club tee times on weekend mornings. This will not change IMO.

CL doesn't really care , they have the member's money and from what I hear have have a long list of folks wanting to join.....when people leave they are quickly replaced.

If so then why not raise prices?  Greens fee increases have been modest to nil the past few years, haven't they?  It will also be interesting to see how popular golf remains if/when the economy goes back to normal, and people do more indoor activities.

Will post when I get numbers.

No doubt there is some un tapped pricing power. The National Golf course owners assoc. report ytd rounds played are up 13.8% and revenue is up 25%. It is difficult to exactly pull out how much greens fees have increased, because food and bev is in the rev mix. Around Kelowna, greens fees at public courses are up at least 25 to 30%. What was a 75$ round last year is now $100. The higher end courses ...more
