The value of LFE should remain at 16.60

Correct me if I am wrong, LFE has received since September 13th the following dividends:
 
Gwo .555 on September 27th 1.2% %
IAG .820 on September 16th 0.75%
MFC .40 on September 19th 1.0%
SLF .81 on September 27th 1.05%

1% = +- 0.15
 
Which should compensate for the September discount.
So no drop after the discount.

LFE actually receives the credit for those dividends on ex divvy date. Receiving dividends from their holdings increases the NAV , does not cause a discount. I normally add the amount of the dividend to each holding  and that makes it a proper accounting to line up with Quadravest midmonth report. AT the end of the month we have to deduct the distributions LFE is paying out, which adds up to ...more

"I normally add the amount of the dividend to each holding"; does this mean you are adding shares to the account like a DRIP? I would have thought it would simply be held in cash ($US or $CDN).

If GWO gets creditted with the dividend on ex divvy date , I add that amount to the stock price. It balances the books.
