CML Healthcare Inc. was halted at 9:40 a.m. PT on Nov. 8, 2012, by the single-stock circuit breaker. Not sure whats up but someone wants out ! 2m shares traded today!!!

Why he single-stock circuit breaker  kicked in  ?  It was quite orderly  trading with a few pennies down. The 3Q results were not  so bad. Medical Labs  are busy  like hell .  These all does not add up. Strange.   B.

The RSI got to as low at 16 today (below 30 is oversold). Listened to the conference call today. I was impressed with the frank approach the CEO and CFO took to the results and their go-forward plans, however, as they presented, there are some headwinds including: 1. Declining xray volume (which comprises approx 30% of their sales) 2. Some uncertainty as to how the talks with the Ont government ...more

The real problem is indicated by the marked increase in G & A (+23.6%). In a competitive, shrinking market that generally means one thing. The hawkeyes have spotted it. But the real mess is yet to arrive.

I doubt it for a few reasons: 1. They feel that they have a strong balance sheet (Debt to EBITDA of 2.4 to 1 vs bank covenant of 3.25 to 1) 2. The third quarter (summer) is their seasonally slowest quarter 3. They felt that the xray decline in revenues had stabilized 4. They have significant untapped lines of credit (over $125 million) 5. They know that their shareholders are income oriented and ...more
