Link to a brief history of the Yanacocha epithermal gold discovery. Interesting read... If I'm reading it correctly it mentions rock chip samples at surface were also lower grade >0.5 g/t . Than the grades discovered at depth. Can anyone with a greater knowledge of the geology confirm this? Which would match what was observed at Pierina..
