Does anyone know why CST can't get in on the Boundary dam project, Partners politics what is it???

It must be scale. Having just crossed the 2million tonne milestone since Oct 2014, that's an average of somewhere around 1500TPD over that time period give or take (and as of Jan 2018, Saskpower was reporting around 2500TPD). So 5 to 8x what CST is working to scale up to unless they would gang several together. Saskpower is putting more LNG in though, and I imagine a 300TPD unit would likely ...more

Great question.  Maybe every other government boondoggle gives us a clue: History: -publicly funded energy megaproject announced during economic boom -project goes way over budget and grossly under performs -corporate "partners" don't lose a dime, in fact they make money while publc costs continue to rise. -political dynasty continues, finances swept under the rug, underfunded ...more
